A new and innovative scalp treatment that creates healthier, fuller-looking hair.
Keravive was designed to clean, exfoliate, hydrate, and nourish the scalp. The treatment works in three steps:
Cleanse: The first step takes place in a medical spa. As you lie down and relax, a technician will use HydraFacial’s gentle Vortex Technology to remove dead skin cells from your scalp, along with oil and dirt. This process also boosts scalp circulation.
Stimulate: After the technician removes impurities from your scalp and hair follicles, they will apply the Keravive Peptide Complex Solution to exfoliate and nourish your scalp. This unique serum delivers a concentrated blend of growth factors and skin proteins, creating healthier, thicker-looking hair and promoting overall scalp health.
Enhance: The final part of the treatment involves the Keravive Peptide Complex Spray, which you’ll take home with you. You’ll apply and massage the spray into your scalp every day to enhance the in-office treatment and extend the results. This spray nourishes and moisturizes your scalp and hair follicles, relieving itchiness and stimulating scalp circulation.
How does Keravive help create healthier hair?
Keravive combines gentle vacuum technology with nutrient-rich formulas to deep-clean and nourish the scalp, improving scalp health and creating the ideal environment for hair growth. A healthy scalp is a basis for strong, silky, voluminous hair.
To envision how your scalp affects hair health, imagine the earth’s soil. Without adequate moisture and nutrients, plants can’t flourish in the soil. Your scalp works in a similar way. If your scalp is itchy, irritated, or inflamed, your hair won’t grow as it should. For example, according to the International Journal of Trichology, scalp issues like dandruff and dermatitis have been linked to premature hair loss. An unhealthy scalp also leads to dry, rough hair and hair breakage. Fortunately, nourishing treatments like Keravive can help.
Can Hydrafacial Keravive treatment stimulate hair growth?
Keravive can help stimulate hair growth for a couple of reasons. First, the treatment contains vital proteins and growth factors that promote growth and support hair follicles.
Secondly, the Keravive treatment also involves scalp massage. According to research, such as these studies from 2016 and 2019, scalp massages reduce hair loss and lead to thicker hair by stimulating hair follicles and improving circulation. The HydraFacial Company claims 75% of patients report improved hair fullness after following Keravive’s entire course.
What areas does Keravive treat?
Keravive is designed exclusively to treat the scalp and hair follicles. If you’re interested in facial treatments, consider HydraFacial skin care options.

What should I expect before, during and after the Keravive treatment?
Before your appointment, specialists recommend cleaning and drying your hair and avoiding styling products. Once you arrive, all you’ll need to do is get comfortable on a spa bed and leave rest to the technician.
During treatment, the technician will first inspect your scalp. Then, they’ll section your hair into rows to apply the treatment easily. Afterward, they’ll use the gentle suctioning device to vacuum up dirt, oil, and dead skin and promote circulation. Next, they’ll dispense the special serum and massage it into your scalp to ensure it penetrates. Finally, the technician will give you a spray to take home so you can continue the treatment.
You can expect the in-office portion of the treatment to take about 30 to 40 minutes. The experience is relaxing and gentle and causes a cooling sensation on the scalp.
After the treatment, it’s recommended to let your scalp and hair completely absorb the solution. You should also wait to wash your hair until the next day if possible.
To complete the treatment, you’ll use the take-home spray every day, starting on the day after your appointment. It’s recommended to apply one to two sprays to scalp areas you’re most concerned about, and then massage the solution into your scalp for about 30 to 60 seconds. If possible, apply the spray at night and leave it on your scalp while you sleep for the best results.
When will I notice results and how long do they last?
You should notice an improvement in scalp health immediately after your first treatment. To maximize results and enjoy long-lasting benefits, the HydraFacial Company recommends having the treatment done once a month for three consecutive months and using the take-home spray continuously during that time. You may wish to follow up with your doctor or aesthetician six months after the treatment has ended.
Are there side effects?
Keravive does not cause side effects or pain or require any downtime. Instead, it will relieve tension and make you feel pampered as you improve your scalp health.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for hair loss involves drawing a person’s blood, processing it, and then injecting the newly concentrated blood product into the scalp.
PRP injections trigger natural hair growth and maintain it by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of the hair shaft. We pair this with a topical solution to get you amazing results. The best results are seen with 3-6 treatments.
Topical products can be added to maximize hair growth.

PRP—which stands for platelet rich plasma—injections are on the rise as a potential solution (or at least a part of the solution) to treating hair loss. Ahead Paul Nassif, a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Beverly Hills explains what it is, how it works and what you can realistically expect from the treatment.
“PRP injections are a great treatment option to help the body repair itself, including damaged hair follicles that are no longer producing hair. However, I always point out to my patients that this will not completely fix or correct hair loss caused by an underlying medical issue (i.e., illness, thyroid issues, autoimmune diseases, etc).”
Timing is also of the essence. “I recommend it for anyone that has noticed thinning hair in a particular area within the past several years. If the patient has not had hair growth in the area for 10 or 20 years, they’re likely not a good candidate for PRP,” shares Nassif.
